This project was about how Graphic Design has evolved over the years. This project has an animated timeline which was made with the help of Prezi.
Poster
The blog-based poster, has got a picture of a tree representing that graphic design has a very well and deep rooted history which also has multiple branches of specializations.
The RGB strips represent the primary three colors produced by the screen and is representing one of the modern parts of graphic design and how it evolved from a basic black and white set of tools which is represented by the monochromatic era of graphic design during the early stages of digital graphic design. The quote «Multiple branches from the same tree.» Is to cement the idea that Graphic Design has origins in nature and has roots in history that are far bigger and longer than the existence of the wheel.
VIDEO BASED TIMELINE
The video-based timeline covers some of the important dates, inventions, and discoveries that happened over the period during the pre-printing press era.
The video was created using Prezi and the computer's onboard screen recording feature to compile it and make it into an interactive based video timeline mainly for educational purposes and to capture a piece of history.
